Phoebe Lai
Phoebe Lai is a senior associate on the Business and Program Development team within the International pillar at the Milken Institute. A key part of her role is building strategic partnerships, donor engagement, and program development across the Asia Pacific. She works with leaders across global financial institutions, major corporates, family offices, and philanthropic organizations to cultivate relationships that support the Institute’s fundraising efforts and expand its regional network.
Lai focuses on advancing the Institute’s India market development efforts, deepening engagement with Indian business, philanthropy, and government leaders, and curating India-focused programming across the Institute’s global convenings. She also helps curate the Institute’s Senior Regional Leaders roundtable series across Hong Kong and Singapore and manages the individual membership communities across Asia-Pacific, including the Young Leaders Circle for next-generation leaders and the Chairman’s Circle.
Lai holds a BA in history, politics, and economics from University College London, with a specialization in Eurasian studies and Russian.
