Forth earned her master of public health in food, nutrition, and population health from the University of California, Berkeley. During her graduate studies, she worked on research projects examining front-of-package added sugar warninglabel policies, weight-loss approaches and diet quality, local food systems sustainability, and state-level organic food-waste bans. She also holds a BA in international studies, environmental sustainability, and global health from American University.
