Tony Lent

Co-Founder, Capital for Climate

Tony Lent has a 30-year track record as an innovator in climate and natural capital finance. His investment experience includes emerging and developed markets and spans multiple industries and initiatives, from community forestry projects in Southeast Asia to first of a kind funds in sustainable fisheries and biodiversity. His platform building includes co-founding US Renewables Group, a pioneer in renewables PE, Swift Current Energy, a leading wind and solar developer, Javelin Capital, a renewables investment bank, and Keeling Capital, a climate tech fund of funds, where he serves on the investment committee. In addition he is an angel investor in multiple climate-related ventures.

Tony is the Co-founder of Capital for Climate (C4C), a public benefit company dedicated to accelerating investment in Nature-based Solutions and carbon removal. In 2022, C4C established the Brazil NbS Investment Collaborative, bringing together leading investors focused on the Brazilian market to scale nature-based solutions to millions of hectares by 2030. He curated and hosted the Brazil NbS Investment Summits in São Paulo in 2023, 2024, and 2025, as well as virtual roadshows. These events have showcased more than $2 billion in NbS investment opportunities, establishing a central point for high-level content and deal-making in the Brazilian NbS sector.
