Todd O. McDonald is President of Liberty Bank and Trust, a historic Black-owned Minority Depository Institution and Community Development Financial Institution headquartered in New Orleans. Since succeeding his father in 2022, he has continued to build Liberty Bank’s legacy as the first Black-owned bank to surpass $1 billion in assets and the nation’s leading mission-driven community bank. Under his leadership, Liberty has expanded to 19 branches across 11 states, launched technology-driven banking solutions, and introduced innovative products that advance financial inclusion for individuals and small businesses. A Morehouse College graduate with an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, McDonald also serves as Chairman of the National Bankers Association and was named to Forbes’ inaugural BLK50 list for his impact on economic equity and community development.
