Shirley Halperin

With over two decades of experience covering pop culture and entertainment, Shirley Halperin has earned a reputation as a trailblazer in journalism. Joining Rolling Stone in 2025 as its first female Co-Editor-in-Chief, Halperin had previously held senior editorial positions at The Hollywood Reporter, Variety and Billboard, most recently serving at THR as Co-Editor-in-Chief. She is the author of three books and has won multiple Los Angeles Press Club awards for her previous work at THR, Variety and Los Angeles Magazine.
