Scott Spielvogel

Managing Partner, One Rock Capital Partners

Scott Spielvogel is a co-founder and Managing Partner of One Rock Capital Partners, a control-oriented private equity firm with offices in New York, London, and Los Angeles. One Rock focuses on investing in industrial businesses that can benefit from operational improvement and strategic repositioning. At One Rock, Mr. Spielvogel shares responsibility for the firm’s overall leadership, investment strategy, and business operations. Prior to co-founding One Rock, Mr. Spielvogel was a Managing Director at Ripplewood Holdings, where he was responsible for private equity investments in the business services and industrial sectors.

Prior to joining Ripplewood, Mr. Spielvogel worked at Windward Capital Partners, a New York-based middle-market private equity firm which he joined in 1998. Mr. Spielvogel began his career in the High Yield and Merchant Banking Group at CIBC Oppenheimer (formerly The Argosy Group), where he worked on a broad range of mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and financing transactions.

He earned an A.B. in Economics, cum laude, from Harvard College and currently serves as Co-Champion of the YPO Presidents’ Program at Harvard Business School.
