Roberto Campos Neto

Roberto de Oliveira Campos Neto joined Nubank in July 2025 as Vice-Chairman of the Board and Global Head of Public Policy, bringing vast experience from both the public and private financial sectors. Previously, as President of the Central Bank of Brazil (2019-2024), he led a significant digital transformation of the country's economy, launching the instant payment system Pix and pioneering Open Finance. His work in modernizing the financial system and controlling inflation earned him international recognition. Prior to his public service, he built a distinguished career at institutions such as Banco Santander. Roberto holds a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from UCLA.
