Régine Clément

Régine Clément has led CREO as its inaugural CEO since 2016, driving the organization’s mission to catalyze capital into Clean, Renewable, and Environmental Opportunities. Under her leadership, CREO has transformed the sustainability investment landscape, collaborating with over 200 families and select pension funds across 30+ countries to deploy billions annually into sustainability solutions across asset classes. Before joining CREO, Régine served as Trade Commissioner and Head of Energy and Environment at the Canadian Consulate General in New York, where she advanced Canadian commercial interests in cleantech, energy, and infrastructure.

She also co-founded and co-managed the Canadian Technology Accelerator for Cleantech, supporting early-stage companies in securing capital and strategic partnerships. Earlier in her career, Régine held diverse roles, including Executive Director of SENS Production in NYC, Trade Policy Analyst for Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs, and Analyst with Fundación Futuro Latino Americano in Ecuador. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at Power Sustainable Capital.

Régine holds an MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa. She is based in New York.
