Philippe is a globally recognized ocean entrepreneur, filmmaker and innovator. Inspired by the legacy of his grandfather Jacques Cousteau and his father Philippe Sr., he is building and scaling innovative solutions to solve many of the biggest crisis facing our ocean. As a Business Entrepreneur: His company, Voyacy Regen, is an ocean technology company that designs, builds, and deploys living marine infrastructure on a scale to protect and grow the world’s most at-risk economies. Through his company Voyacy Media, Philippe has produced or hosted dozens of television shows including the multi-Emmy nominated weekly syndicated series Awesome Planet, Discovery’s Nuclear Sharks, CNN’s Going Green, Oceans for BBC and Travel Channel’s hit series Caribbean Pirate Treasure. As an author, Philippe’s has authored or co-authored several books including Follow the Moon Home, Going Blue and Make a Splash, The Endangereds, and Oceans for Dummies, which he co-authored with his wife Ashlan.
In 2005 he founded EarthEcho International; a leading environmental education organization that is building a global youth movement to restore and protect our ocean planet. To date, EarthEcho has activated over 2 million youth in 146 countries through its programs. Philippe holds a Masters degree from the University of St Andrews and an honorary doctorate in marine biology from the University of Plymouth in England. H
