Patricia Ellen da Silva

Patricia Ellen da Silva is an entrepreneur and expert in low-carbon economies and nature-based solutions. She is the Managing Partner of SYSTEMIQ LatAm, Co-founder of AYA Earth Partners, Chair of the Board of the Instituto AYA, and former Secretary of Economic Development, Science, and Technology for the State of São Paulo.

She holds a degree in Business Administration from FEA-USP, a Master Degree in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, and an MBA from INSEAD. She was president of Optum in Brazil, a healthcare technology company within the United Health group. She is a former partner at McKinsey & Company and leader of the Public Sector practice. She was a member of the Economic and Social Development Council of the Presidency of the Republic, co-founded the Agora Movement, and was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2016. She participated in several local and global climate-related events, such as the Amazon Summit previews, Climate Week NYC & London, WCF London 2025, and COP27, 28, and 29. Together with seven other organizations, she organized the first Climate Finance Forum in Brazil, which was part of the 2024 G20 program.

Patricia works as an analyst for CNN Brasil, where she comments weekly on topics related to COP30, climate change, decarbonization, and green business.
