Monique Woodard is the Founder and Managing Director at Cake Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in the future of technology being driven by major demographic changes, including aging and longevity, the shift to majority-minority, and the increased spending power of women. Monique invests in companies with global ambitions who are creating technology products that meet the needs of tomorrow’s internet users. Before starting Cake Ventures, Monique was a venture investor and angel, investing startup ecosystems in the US and internationally. Before moving onto the investor side of the table, Monique spent 15+ years in the startup industry as a founder, ecosystem builder, and operator. Monique has a BA in Political Science from the University of Miami and is a Kauffman Fellow. She is based in San Francisco, CA.
