Mayowa Kuyoro is a Partner in McKinsey’s Lagos office. She leads McKinsey’s Financial Institutions practice in Africa. Her work spans public, social, and private sectors—helping leaders design and deliver digital transformations, build new businesses, and craft strategies that expand access to finance and accelerate inclusive growth. She also leads McKinsey Global Institute research in Africa on economic development and gender parity and has authored multiple publications, including Reimagining economic growth in Africa: Turning diversity into opportunity, Closing the Loop: The quest for gender parity in Africa tech; Leading, not lagging: Africa's gen AI opportunity. Mayowa holds an MEng (First Class Hons) in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Warwick and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
