Mauricio Cotica

Maurício Silveira Cótica is the CEO of Bioo Plataforma de Biosoluções (a circular-economy platform for waste-to-energy and bio-based products) and cofounder of Sebigas Cótica. An executive and entrepreneur in the circular economy, he leads projects that convert agro-industrial residues into biogas/biomethane, biofertilizers, and biogenic CO₂. With more than 10 years devoted to developing biogas solutions and businesses, he has worked across the entire value chain—from feedstock origination and process engineering to structuring supply and offtake agreements. He also brings 30 years of experience in industrial projects and agribusiness.
