John Rigas

Mr. John Rigas is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of the Sciens Group of Companies. Mr. Rigas has 37 years of professional experience in the global financial services industry, managing funds investing in private equity and real assets. Currently, Sciens is focused on investments in the US water infrastructure sector through the Sciens Water Opportunities Fund (SWOF). SWOF is a leading investor in companies that operate water infrastructure assets and in companies that provide products and services to the water sector. In his capacity as an asset manager and investor, Mr. Rigas and the Funds that he or Sciens advises have clients‎ in North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Clients include public and corporate pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, private banks and wealth managers, and wealthy individual investors and families.
