John Frye

John Frye is Chief Executive Officer of Aquarian Insurance Holdings, Partner at Aquarian Holdings, and President of Investors Heritage, focused on building durable, growth-oriented insurance platforms through disciplined strategy and execution. He brings decades of experience across insurance, reinsurance, and financial services, having led organizations through scale, transformation, and regulatory complexity. Prior to joining Aquarian, Mr. Frye served as Chief Strategy Officer at Advisors Excel, a leading insurance marketing firm. He served as Chief Financial Officer at Security Benefit and its life insurance subsidiaries.

Mr. Frye began his career with General Electric, where he spent 20 years in numerous senior leadership positions within GE Capital, the company’s financial services business. During his tenure, he served as Chief Financial Officer for the GE Employers Reassurance Business – a $25 billion life and health insurance business – as well as for GE’s commercial insurance business.

Mr. Frye’s expertise spans life and annuity insurance, health insurance, commercial and municipal risk, specialty lines, and capital-intensive businesses, with a proven track record of aligning strategy, operations, and financial performance to drive long-term value for stakeholders.

Mr. Frye earned a BA from Michigan State University.
