John Buckridge currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Spartan Aerospace Group, LLC and Executive Chairman of Turbine Engine Specialists, LLC; both portfolio companies under his purview as the Aerospace & Defense Fund Operating Partner for The Edgewater Funds. John previously led Berkshire Hathaway’s Marmon Group Aerospace and Metal Services Division as President, overseeing global operations across 45 locations in eight countries and driving revenue growth to $1.3 billion through strategic acquisitions. Earlier in his career, Buckridge was Managing Director at B/E Aerospace, joining the company after it acquired Altis Aero Systems, which he founded. His leadership there also focused on acquisition-driven growth.
He studied English and Engineering at the University of New Haven and Massachusetts Maritime Academy, served five years in the U.S. Navy, and completed executive negotiation programs at MIT and Harvard Law School. John’s latest project, Spartan Aerospace Group, brings together specialized small and mid-sized manufacturers to form a vertically integrated powerhouse exclusively focused on the aerospace industry.
