Hector Gomez Ang

Hector Gomez Ang is the Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director at Finance in Motion GmbH, one of the largest independent blended finance asset managers globally with EUR 4.0 billion AuM - where he leads the investment management and product development operations. He joined Finance in Motion after 16 years at the IFC where led the IFC´s operations in Brazil, Southern Africa and where his last position was as Regional Director for South Asia, based in India. Hector started his career as an oilfield engineer and worked in power project development. He worked in investment banking and M&A with Citigroup and AIG in Brazil and New York. He was a board member at Colombia´s Banco Davivienda and Banbajio in Mexico - among other financial intermediaries and funds. He holds Chemical & Systems Engineering and MBA degrees from Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico and a M.Sc. in Social Business from the London School of Economics.
