Gonçalo Neves-Correia

Founding Partner and CEO, ThirdWay Partners

Gonçalo earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, graduating in the top 5% of his class as a Baker Scholar. Prior to this, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Gonçalo began his career at Goldman Sachs in London as an analyst in Global Equities & Global Investment Research, then working as Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company, gaining experience in Strategy, Private Equity, Real Estate and Financial Institutions. He later joined J.P. Morgan, also in London, where he rose to the role of Executive Director of Strategic Investments, and became the European representative of the Strategic Investments Global Management Team.

In more recent years through founding ThirdWay Partners, his work has focused on sustainable development in Africa and Latin America, where he has led investment initiatives and provided corporate finance advisory services across a range of sectors and various stakeholders to create and finance investable opportunities that deliver economic, social, and conservation returns.

In addition, he serves as a board observer for the ThirdWay Africa Rural Development Corporation and is actively involved in fundraising efforts, contributing both strategic guidance and leadership to development-focused initiatives across the continent.
