Dipanjan "DJ" Deb

Dipanjan (“DJ”) Deb is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Francisco Partners. DJ currently serves on the boards of Boomi, and New Relic. DJ previously served on the boards of AMI Semiconductor (AMIS), Barracuda Networks (CUDA), CBA, C-MAC, Conexant (CNXT), Corsair, Cross Match, GoodRx (GDRX), Globespan (GSPN), LegalZoom (NASDAQ:LZ), Legerity, MagnaChip, Metrologic, NPTest/Credence (CMOS), Numonyx, ON Semiconductor (ONNN), Plex Software, Quest Software, Sectigo, Smart Modular Technologies (SMOD), SonicWall, Ultra Clean Technologies (UCTT), and Verifone. DJ also worked on numerous other investments where he helped with the original investment or sale of the business. DJ currently serves on the Stanford GSB Advisory Council, the UC Berkeley Engineering School Board and the UCSF Foundation Board of Directors. Previously, he served on the Stanford University Board of Trustees and the Stanford GSB Management Council (where he was chair). Additionally, DJ currently teaches the "Finance of Private Equity" class at the GSB with Professor Ilya Strebulaev and is also in the YPO Barbary Coast Chapter. Prior to founding Francisco Partners in 1999, DJ was a Principal with TPG. Earlier in his career, he was a Director of Semiconductor Banking at Robertson, Stephens & Company and a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. DJ has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California Berkeley where he was a Regents Scholar) and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
