Cristina Penteado

Managing Director and Head of Brazil of Blue like an Orange Sustainable Capital, an impact investment firm focused on structured credit and private equity in emerging markets. Cristina oversees operations in Brazil, serves at the board of several investee companies, and is a member of the Investment Committee. Cristina has over 20 years of experience in the financial market, including mezzanine financing at Credit Suisse, private equity and venture capital at Darby, investment banking at Morgan Stanley, and strategic planning and corporate M&A at Bunge. Cristina is a board member of ABVCAP (Associação Brasileira de Private Equity e Venture Capital) and Aliança pelo Impacto, besides holding board positions in private companies. Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation and Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo and MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
