Christopher Brearton is a Partner at AGBO, working alongside co-founders Anthony and Joe Russo and Donald Mustard. He brings more than 30 years of experience in media and entertainment strategy, operations, and high-profile dealmaking, with deep relationships across the creative community. AGBO has delivered record-breaking global success, including 11 number-one openings and more than $7 billion in box office, highlighted by Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame. The company’s projects include the Oscar-winning Everything Everywhere All at Once, Netflix hits The Gray Man and Extraction, and Prime Video’s Citadel franchise. Prior to AGBO, Brearton served as Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Amazon MGM Studios, where he led corporate strategy and oversaw the integration of MGM into Amazon. He managed MGM’s television business, launched MGM+ globally, guided theatrical distribution strategy, and served as a key liaison on major creative properties, including the James Bond franchise. Earlier, as MGM’s Chief Operating Officer, he led the studio’s operations and was chief architect of its $8.45 billion sale to Amazon. Previously, Brearton was a partner at Latham & Watkins, founding its Century City office and building a leading entertainment, sports, and media practice. Beyond entertainment, he is deeply involved in the Olympic Movement and served as Chairman of USA Swimming.
