Carine Twiringiyimana

Carine Twiringiyimana has 20-years professional experience with 15 years in senior management position in the Capital Market Authority of Rwanda assisting in putting in place a conducive environment to raise long-term capital. As the Manager in charge of Licensing and Approvals, she leads in transaction approvals, licensing of intermediaries, while also providing guidance on policy, legal instruments reviews and monitoring corporate Governance structures of licensed and listed entities. Prior to joining the Authority, Carine served as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Finance at the University of Rwanda, College of Business and Economics.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Maastricht University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the Kigali Institute of Science and Technology. She is currently pursuing the Milken Institute–IFC Capital Markets Certificate at Georgetown University including an internship at Total Impact Capital.
