Bob Brown

Bob Brown is a Founding Partner and Head of Capital Formation & Investor Relations at Motive Partners, a specialist investment firm focused on financial technology. He is also a member of the firm's Growth & Buyout Investment Committee. Since joining Motive in 2019, he has helped lead capital formation for the firm's flagship funds, including Motive Capital Fund 1 and Motive's second fund, which closed at $2.54 billion inclusive of co-investment. Previously, Brown co-founded BearTooth Advisors, later acquired by Houlihan Lokey, and held senior leadership roles at Advent International and The Carlyle Group. Across his career, he has contributed to the formation of nearly 180 private investment funds and co-investment vehicles. He holds a B.A. from Southern Methodist University and an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut.
