Alysia Reiner

SAG award winning Alysia Reiner is best known as Fig on 7 seasons of Orange Is the New Black, also originating Agent Deever in 2023 Emmy & Critics Choice Award–winning Ms. Marvel. She starred in 5 seasons as Sunny on Better Things, 2 seasons as Kiki on The Deuce, 2 seasons as Kathryn in Shining Vale with Courteney Cox and Greg Kinnear -both on HBO, and now recurring in seasons 2 & 3 of Netflix’s hit political thriller The Diplomat. Recent films include The Feeling That the Time for Doing Something Has Passed (2025 Spirit award nominee), Our Bodies and Other Shames, and Transcendent. Other career highlights include Oscar-winning Sideways, an Emmy-winning episode of Broad City, over 150 episodes of TV, 50 films, countless theatres from Harlem’s Apollo Theatre to the Edinburgh Festival (where she won a Critics Choice Award). As a producer, Alysia conceived of, developed, produced, and starred in feature film EQUITY, bought/distributed by Sony Pictures Classics at Sundance, and EGG, which premiered at Tribeca and is 100% FRESH on Rotten Tomatoes. On the board of the Geena Davis Institute for Gender Equality, Earth Day Initiative, Air Protein and she has received many awards including a MUSE "MADE IN NY" AWARD from The Mayor's office/NYWIFT. Though often cast as tough-as-nails, in life Alysia is a grounded actress-producer, devoted mom, volunteer fire fighter, singer with the Resistance Revival Chorus (joy as an act of resistance!) and is outspoken environmentalist who believes in the power of art as activism.
