He leads a team responsible for originating, structuring and executing limited recourse Project Finance and Export Finance as well as financial advisory transactions in the region. Sachin joined Standard Chartered Bank in 1999 and has experience across multiple product segments and geographies, having been the Global Head and Managing Director of Portfolio Analysis & Monitoring in Dubai, Managing Director for Leveraged Finance based in Mumbai and Director for Project and Export Finance in London. Sachin has extensive experience in leading financial advisory, structuring and financing mandates across infrastructure and related sectors including power, telecom, metals, oil & gas, and cement. Before becoming a banker, Sachin worked at a thermal power plant and also in the electrical equipment industry. Sachin holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He is based in Singapore.
