Whether it's aligning your investments to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), integrating environmental, social or governance (ESG) factors into your portfolio management, or seeking active, impact investments that have measurable social good, it is clear that more and more "mainstream" investors are exploring more mission-driven opportunities. One recent study estimated that nearly $12 trillion in US portfolios is invested with some kind of social aim: environmental sustainability, for example, or pro-worker policies. But how can you ensure that products that are marketed as SDG or ESG are substantive, data-driven investments that move past a label and demonstrate a true triple bottom line? This private session will highlight opportunities that have a proven track record, as well as data tools and market resources that help to evaluate and validate impact investment opportunities.

• What data is missing and how can more traditional financial institutions integrate impact or sustainability factors into their systems to allow for better monitoring and evaluation?
