Despite many technological advances in treatments, obesity remains an epidemic that is not getting better. In fact, it is getting worse. There is a great need within the health-care ecosystem to change how this disease is being addressed and treated. Both patients and health-care providers require a new approach. This private session will bring together many sectors of the health-care ecosystem to reimagine how care could be delivered differently in order to improve outcomes. The focus will be solutions that could be undertaken in the workplace, as that is where most people spend a bulk of their time. In addition, research has shown that obesity takes a toll on companies, affecting productivity and increasing costs.
