Project Prevent
Overview
Preventable illnesses remain a leading cause of death worldwide. Noncommunicable diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity, now account for most premature deaths, driven by lack of access to healthy foods, inactivity, and inadequate screening. Project Prevent is an initiative of Milken Institute Health that seeks to bring together leaders and experts across sectors to create a blueprint for shifting to health prevention at scale.
