Osei Van Horne is the Co-Global Head, and Managing Partner of J.P. Morgan’s Sustainable Growth Equity practice he is also the Head of J.P. Morgan’s social impact commitment to Project Black, a multi-billion private equity fund led by Ariel Alternatives. Prior to this role, he was a Managing Director and co-founder of the Technology Division of Wells Fargo’s growth equity practice, where he managed a pool of sustainable technology investments. Previously, Van Horne was also a private equity social impact investor at Goldman Sachs' Merchant Banking Division where he focused on investing in companies led by underrepresented minorities. Mr. Van Horne was named one of the 50 most influential venture capital investor by GCV from 2019 to 2021, and Pitchbook’s 2022 list of Notable African Americans in technology. Mr. Van Horne serves on the Board of Advisors of Women's Venture Fund, a leading 501(c)(3) organization focused on providing financing and advisory solutions for women-owned small business in the New York Tri-State area. Van Horne is a mentor at All Raise, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on increasing the pipeline of women venture capital investors. Van Horne is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University Graduate School of Business where he teaches Foundations of Private Equity. He has published several white papers including, "Impact of Group-Buying Models on Small Business Purchasing: Pilot Research Analysis" published in the Spring 2013 Issue of Journal of Private Equity. Mr. Van Horne is a graduate of Howard University and he resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
