Julian Salisbury

Julian is global co-head of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, the firm’s primary investing area that delivers investment and advisory services for the world’s leading institutions, financial advisors, and individuals, overseeing more than $2 trillion in assets under supervision worldwide. Since joining Goldman Sachs in 1998, he has held a number of leadership roles in New York, London, and Moscow, including serving as head of the Merchant Banking Division, Global Special Situations Group, and European Special Situations Group. Julian qualified as a chartered accountant in 1998 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He serves on the Board of Trustees of The Nightingale-Bamford School and St. Bernard’s School and is a member of the Board of Directors of Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO). Julian earned a BSc in Sports Science and an MSc in Biomechanics from Loughborough University in 1993 and 1994, respectively. He resides in New York City.
