Christopher Graves was named founding President of the Ogilvy Center for Behavioral Science in 2017 after serving more than a decade in the roles of Regional (APAC) CEO Global CEO, and Global Chairman, for Ogilvy Public Relations, one of the world’s largest communications agencies. Prior to joining Ogilvy, Graves served at the highest levels in news media, including 18 years with The Wall Street Journal and as head of news for both CNBC Asia and CNBC Europe. His behavioral science work earned a prestigious Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Residency, and he received six global awards for his research innovation that decodes human behavior at scale in a “sensemaking genome.” Graves works on solving human behavior challenges such as vaccine hesitancy. During this pandemic (his third), he has supported many US and global efforts with behavioral science insights, such as WHO; UNICEF; Save the Children; the NYC mayor’s task force to create a new Pandemic Response Institute; mayor and chief medical officer for the city of Chicago; Rockefeller Foundation; the Milken Institute.

He was elected life member to the Council on Foreign Relations in 2010. He is an active contributor to media such as HBR, CNBC and CNN.
