Hugh Andrew, Managing Director, is responsible for the asset management, leasing and marketing, and property management of the BlackRock's Asia Property Fund portfolios and separate account mandates. Hugh's service with the firm dates back to 2010, including his years with MGPA, which was acquired by BlackRock in 2013. Prior to joining MGPA, he was the Chief Representative for Hongkong Land in India and before that held a number of senior positions in Hong Kong both in the Asset and Property Management Divisions of Hongkong Land. He has also worked as a service provider in Hong Kong with Vigers and First Pacific Davies and in London with Healey & Baker. He has over 35 years of experience in real estate, the majority of which were spent in Asia. Hugh is the Chair of the BlackRock Asia Real Estate Investment Committee, The Chair of the SE Asia Mosaic Group of Networks, a member of the Real Assets Global Talent Committee and a Founding member of the Real Assets ESG Committee. Hugh was educated at The Duke of York's Royal Military Academy, Kent, United Kingdom. Hugh is married to Mairisa and has 2 Children - Lily 20 and Angus 18.
