Enrique Perret Erhard

Enrique Perret Erhard is a prominent leader with a long history of commitment to the bilateral relationship between the United States and Mexico and is a senior fellow within the International pillar at the Milken Institute. During his government tenure, Perret Erhard focused on leading governmental commitments and business development strategies between the two countries. He currently serves as the managing director of the US-Mexico Foundation (USMF) and is the president and founder of the North Capital Forum, an initiative of the USMF that seeks to promote North America as an economic, social, and political powerhouse.

Previously, Perret Erhard served as director for North America at ProMéxico, the Mexican government's promotion agency, where he worked for more than 10 years in various capacities. Other government roles include technical secretary for competitiveness and chief of staff to the president of the Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores (National Banking and Securities Commission).

He has been an active advocate for civil society efforts and has held leadership roles in several institutions, including the boards of Teach for Mexico (the Mexican chapter of Teach For All), Reinserta, Fundemex, Nepanoa, Pacto, and Comisión México Estados Unidos para el Intercambio Educativo y Cultural. He is also president and founder of Grupo México en Movimiento.

Perret Erhard holds a bachelor's degree in international trade from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and a master's degree in economics and government from the Universidad Anáhuac. He has also completed executive courses at Harvard University, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and Southern Methodist University.

In addition to his professional achievements, Perret Erhard is the executive producer of the television series Pati's Mexican Table, which has been recognized with four James Beard awards and three Emmy nominations, and La Frontera on PBS.
