Enrique Perret Erhard is a prominent leader with a longstanding commitment to the bilateral relationship between the United States and Mexico. During his government tenure, Erhard focused on leading governmental commitments and business development strategies between the two countries. He currently serves as the managing director of the US-Mexico Foundation (USMF) and is the president and founder of the North Capital Forum, an initiative of the USMF that seeks to promote North America as an economic, social, and political powerhouse.

Previously, Erhard held the position of director for North America at ProMéxico, the Mexican government's promotion agency, where he worked for over ten years in various capacities. Other government roles include Technical Secretary for Competitiveness and chief of staff to the president of the Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores (Banking and Securities Commission).

He has been an active advocate for civil society efforts and has held leadership roles in several institutions, including the boards of Teach for Mexico (Mexican chapter of Teach for All), Reinserta, Fundemex, Nepanoa, Pacto, and COMEXUS. He is also president and founder of Grupo México en Movimiento.

Erhard holds a bachelor's degree in international trade from Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and a master's degree in economics and government from the Universidad Anáhuac. He has also completed executive courses at Harvard University, the Wharton School, and Southern Methodist University.

In addition to his professional achievements, Erhard is the executive producer of the television series Pati's Mexican Table, recognized with four James Beard awards and three Emmy nominations, and La Frontera on PBS.
