Shamiram R. Feinglass, MD, MPH, is the chief medical officer and VP of global medical affairs and policy for Diagnostics and Life Sciences at Danaher. Driving inclusion and diversity in every environment in which she works or leads, Dr. Feinglass leads Global Medical Affairs, Policy, and Reimbursement and is responsible for leading the global pandemic response plan for the 70,000 associates at Danaher. She formerly ran global medical and regulatory affairs at Zimmer, Inc, has served as a medical officer at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and as a commander with the U.S. Public Health Service. A sought-after speaker and expert in international medical device, diagnostics, & mental health policy and a member of the Council of Foreign Relations, Dr. Feinglass has served on a variety of panels for the FDA, FasterCures, The Brookings Institute, Pew Charitable Trusts, and Oxford University. A graduate of Smith College, she earned her MD and MPH from the Emory Schools of Medicine and Public Health, completed residencies in Internal Medicine (OHSU) and Preventive Medicine (Emory), and the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program at the University of Washington. Dr. Feinglass is a Fellow of the third class of the Health Innovators Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. A mother of two, she is currently a BMX state champion and was a member of the USA BMX World Championship Team.
