Oskar Lewnowski is the Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Orion Resource Partners a leader in private capital provision to the mining vertical. Over the past decade, Mr. Lewnowski has created more than $10 billion in investment value deploying capital to construct mines for 80+ portfolio companies in 29 different countries. Alongside the mine finance business Orion has built a hedge fund dedicated to long/short relative value and directional trading in metals futures and options. He has also created a first of its kind royalty and streaming fund dedicated to building long-term annuity structures for agricultural, industrial, and specialty metals operations. Under his tutelage, Orion also founded Orion Industrial Ventures, a deep-tech venture capital fund focused on improving mine economic and sustainability and ORE a long-only public equity fund.

He is responsible for the strategic direction of the firm and its expansion efforts. In 2025, Orion Resource Partners founded a targeted $5 billion joint venture to construct supply chains for critical materials from emerging market sources – Orion Critical Minerals Consortium together with ADQ, an Abu Dhabi-based sovereign wealth fund and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC).

Prior to Orion, Mr. Lewnowski was a founding partner of the Red Kite Group and Chief Investment Officer of its mine finance division. His career began on the sales side across various roles and jurisdictions, enabling global investment experience.
