Michael Nierenberg serves as Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board & President of Rithm Capital. 

Rithm Capital is a leading global asset manager, focusing on delivering long-term value through a diverse and complementary portfolio of investments and operating companies across real estate, private credit, financial services and energy and infrastructure sectors. 

It was originally founded in 2013 as an affiliate of Fortress Investment Group before internalizing management in 2022. Based in New York, Michael has worked for the Company since its founding. Prior to his current role, Mr. Nierenberg held senior leadership roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan, Bear Stearns, and Lehman Brothers.
