Meranda Miao is Executive Vice President and Head of Private Markets Investments at Shamal Holding, a diversified investment firm in Dubai. She oversees the firm’s global strategy across private equity, private credit, and infrastructure, focusing on both fund commitments and co-investments. Since joining in 2022, she has built the platform’s investment processes across sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio construction.Previously, Meranda worked at a leading sovereign wealth fund, covering global private markets. She also held investment and advisory roles in London across asset management, professional services, and corporate finance.She holds an MSc in Finance from Bayes Business School and a BSc in International Economics, and is a CFA and ACCA charterholder.
