Her Excellency Mariam bint Mohammed AlMheiri

H.E. Mariam AlMheiri is the Managing director 2PointZero, a forward- thinking global investment platform launched in December 2023. Under her leadership, 2PointZero has rapidly established itself as a leader in creating a dynamic value network through a diversified portfolio focusing on advanced technology, renewable infrastructure and financial services. Its portfolio includes industry leaders like Chimera Investments, Lunate Capital, and International Resources Holding (IRH) driving economic growth while embedding sustainability and innovation at its core.

With a background in Mechanical Engineering and extensive expertise in policy leadership, H.E. Mariam brings a unique perspective to 2PointZero, driving its mission to shape future-ready industries and deliver long-term, inclusive value.

Before stepping into the private sector, H.E. Mariam played a vital role in shaping the UAE’s environmental, food, and water security policies. As UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment, and previously as Minister of State for Food and Water Security, she led national efforts to strengthen climate resilience, promote sustainable innovation, and safeguard vital resources. These experiences have given her a profound understanding of global sustainability challenges and has inspired her commitment to responsible investing and sustainable growth across industries.

In addition to her role at 2PointZero, H.E. Mariam is the Head of the International Affairs Office at the Presidential Court of the UAE.

She is a board member of First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Modon Holding, McLaren Group Holdings, and the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, where she contributes with her expertise to the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, reflecting her broader commitment to global cooperation and development.

In her role at the International Affairs Office, she oversees strategic projects including the Emirates Polar Program and the UAE-Gates Partnership.

Outside the boardroom, she is a passionate pianist and a former elite show jumping athlete, having proudly represented the UAE in top-level international competitions as part of the national equestrian team. Beyond her athletic and artistic pursuits, she is a dedicated mentor and she actively champions education, leadership, and equal opportunity for the next generation of changemakers.

H.E. Mariam holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rheinisch - Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) in Aachen Germany.
