Marcelo Paiva

Marcelo Paiva is the Co-founder of A10 Invest and Co-Chairperson of Sigma Lithium. He is a visiting professor and frequent guest speaker at INSEAD and The Wharton School. In November 2025, he was recognized as INSEADer of the Month among 71,000 alumni worldwide, an honor that coincided with COP30 and highlighted his global impact in sustainable investing. His work in scaling a green industrial start-up into a major producer was recently featured in an INSEAD case study.Marcelo began his career in investment banking at UBS in New York and Credit Suisse in London. He holds a BA in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, an MBA from INSEAD, and is a CFA charterholder.
