Majed Mohamed is the Head of Community Engagement and Advocacy at Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP), where he leads initiatives focused on advancing cancer awareness, prevention, and patient-centered advocacy across the UAE and the region. He plays a central role in strengthening national and international collaborations that amplify the voices of cancer patients and support equitable access to care. Majed’s work centers on reducing the impact of cancer through evidence-based advocacy, community engagement, and strategic partnerships. He serves on several regional and global platforms, including the WHO NCD Labs Steering Committee, the UAE Rare Disease Society, the CCI Asia Regional Committee (ASRC), and is a Young Leader in the NCD Child program. He is also a board member at NCD Alliance - Eastern Mediterranean Region.

With experience spanning public health, community programs, and policy dialogue, Majed works closely with stakeholders to promote inclusive approaches to cancer control and to empower patients and survivors through FOCP’s community-driven initiatives. Majed holds a Master of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences.
