Jean-Baptiste Fantun

A graduate of the École Polytechnique and professor of mathematics, Jean-Baptiste Fantun has had a career in both the private and public sectors, ranging from financial consulting to innovation in start-ups, including a position as diplomatic advisor in a ministerial office. A passionate bridge player, he has also distinguished himself in this field by ranking among the best French players and winning several national titles.

This passion led him to create NukkAI in 2018, a start-up co-founded with Véronique VENTOS, a researcher in artificial intelligence.

NukkAI, of which he is the CEO, aims to create a new generation of collaborative, explainable and frugal artificial intelligence. This French start-up achieved a world first by organizing the Bridge Challenge in March 2022, during which its AI outperformed eight world bridge champions, while being explainable and consuming 200,000 times fewer resources than Google for AlphaGo!

NukkAI is developing two products for operational planning and heterogeneous data fusion and has already signed major contracts in the transport, logistics and defense sectors.
