Irene Kiwia is a technology entrepreneur and board-level leader with over 20 years’ experience driving digital transformation across Africa’s media, technology and development sectors. She focuses on aligning technology strategy with sustainable business models to build resilient organisations and ecosystems that deliver both profitability and meaningful social impact.

As Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer of Adanian Labs and a founding executive of the African AI Center of Excellence (AICE Africa), Irene designs scalable strategies and Centres of Excellence that equip corporates, financial institutions and public-sector partners with AI and smart-technology capabilities. Through hwe work she has incubated 40+ startups, trained thousands of AI, blockchain and software professionals, digitised community savings groups, and built platforms that expand access to finance, skills and markets for youth, women and SMEs.
