The deal freed $1.2 billion in fiscal space for the government of Ecuador , directed over $400 million to conservation, and established a long-term endowment. Erik has also advised top institutions including GE, Sasol, DBSA, and Standard Bank, earning recognition in the Africa Power Elites for his impact. He remains a key figure in global impact finance innovation.
