Founded by Strive Masiyiwa, the Econet Group is one of the pioneers of the telecommunications revolution in Africa, now operating through Econet Wireless, its mobile telephony business, and Cassava Technologies. Cassava Technologies is Africa’s leading integrated technology company providing digital infrastructure and digital services across 31 Countries in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, USA, and Latin America. Hardy is a seasoned board-level practitioner with 25 years of senior management experience in banking & finance, ICT, and infrastructure development. He holds engineering and business degrees from Queen Mary College (University of London) and from the Edinburgh Business School.
