Annelie Ajami

Founder and Managing Partner, Anamcara Capital

Annelie Ajami is the Founder and Solo General Partner of Anamcara, a pre-/seed venture fund investing in B2B companies across verticals such as cloud-based software, fintech, supply chain management, and marketplaces. Anamcara invests across Europe. Annelie has an extensive background in finance and venture capital. In 2011 she briefly worked at Nomura Bank in the investment banking division before joining Bedrock, an asset manager in London with over $9 billion under management. In 2016, she joined B&Y Venture Partners, an early-stage venture firm in Europe and the Middle East. During her time there, she founded Gaia Venture Consulting an advisory firm advising private and institutional investors on direct tech investments. Annelie is also the co-founder of the Ajami Foundation, a philanthropic organization established to empower communities in Lebanon by supporting initiatives advancing entrepreneurship and education. Annelie is a two-time national boxing champion and won the Dutch and UK Female National Boxing Championship in 2010. She holds a BA in History and Politics from School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and Politics (LSE).
