Walid Majdalani is a Managing Partner in the Private Equity MENA team. He is also a core member of the team that launched the c. $1B Fund and a member of the Investment Committee, where he is in charge of sourcing, executing and managing investments across the region. Walid has been with Investcorp since 2007. Since then, he has had various leadership positions across the Firm’s offices in the Gulf, including representing Investcorp on the boards of Automak, Theeb Rent a Car, NDTCCS and Bindawood Holding. Walid joined Investcorp from ABN AMRO Bank NV, having spent nine years in various senior positions, the latest of which was his role as Investment Director and Asset Manager. Prior to ABN AMRO, Walid worked with Oracle Corporation, a US listed entity providing database software and technology, where he was the UAE Territory Manager. Walid holds a BA degree in Management Information Systems from University of Texas and an MBA in Business Administration from Harvard Graduate School of Business.
