Nicolas Anekla is a former football player and professional football manager. Born in March 1979 in Versailles, Nicolas played his first professional game at the age of 16 for Paris Saint-Germain Football Club. He has played for a number of football clubs including Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain. Nicolas won the UEFA Euro 2000 with France and the Champions League with Real Madrid. Other accolades include winning the Premier League and FA Cup with Arsenal, winning the Premier League and FA Cup twice with Chelsea, and winning the Premier League with Juventus. Nicolas was the Premier League top scorer in 2008/2009, and Club World Cup top scorer in 2000. He became the player coach at the highest level for Shanghai Shenhua in 2013, and coach for Mumbai City Football Club in 2015. Nicolas became the Chairman Advisor for Roda JC in Holland since 2016, and became coach for the Lille, France Football Academy in 2018.
