Abdou Bensouda is managing director of FinanceCom International, the family office of FinanceCom, a pan african investment group headquartered in Casablanca, Morocco. FinanceCom has one of the largest integrated financial services business in Africa through its main subsidiaries - Bank of Africa, a leading continental bank, and RMA, a key insurance player in North Africa. FinanceCom has also operations in a variety of growth sectors including telecommunications, media, tourism, renewable energy, and transport. Mr. Bensouda serves on the board of Bank of Africa and various portfolio companies of the group FinanceCom. His role involves managing a portfolio of traditional, alternative, and private equity investments for the family office as well as developing cross border partnerships. Mr. Bensouda is an investment professional with over 30 years of experience in general management, venture capital, M&A transactions, and business reorganization. He holds a Computer Systems Engineering degree from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration with concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Babson College.
