As Executive Vice President and Global Head of Alternative Asset Managers Solutions, Maria Cantillon is responsible for driving global sales and client relationships across State Street’s Hedge, Private Equity, Offshore and Real Estate Fund Administration businesses worldwide. Maria is based in London and manages teams across North America, Asia Pacific and Europe. Maria works closely with leading managers in the Alternatives industry, advising them on complex industry challenges such as operational efficiency, overcoming regulatory barriers and risk management. Maria regularly speaks at high-profile industry events such as SALT and EuroHedge and is a Champion for Women in Business. She is State Street’s Ambassador to the 30% Club and part of the Senior Women's EMEA-wide Female Mentoring club. Maria is also a member of the UK government initiative ‘28/40 and was also recently featured in the “FN100 Women,” which is the Financial News’ eighth annual editorial pick of the most influential female executives working in financial services across EMEA.
