Akimi Takemura

Akimi Takemura has served as Regional Director, North Asia- Booking.com, one of the world’s leading providers of online travel and related services, since July 2021. She manages the Booking.com accommodation business in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao.

Previously she led Amadeus IT JAPAN as Managing Director and responded to the industry evolution by providing IT solutions to airlines and travel agencies. Akimi also has Finance industry expertise, having previously worked for American Express, and held key positions in Tokyo, Paris and New York until joining Amadeus.
